Our Story
My name is Dave. I have been in water conditioning—reverse osmosis drinking water systems, water softeners, whole-house carbon block filter systems, etc.—for literally decades: over 30 years, in fact. In that time, I’ve worked in thousands of homes and seen the same pattern repeat itself over and over again.
I have found that EVERY home, if given enough time without doing proper maintenance, will have high water pressure that can cause the pipes, or the weakest point of the water-bearing appliances connected to it, to burst, causing a flood.
There are components put in place to stop this from happening, but all those components go bad over time. The first sign people notice is the flood itself, instead of seeing the problem before it becomes a disaster.
That’s why I developed the Pressure Guard™—to stop this pattern before it starts. And I’m even working on a way to monitor a home’s pressure for people, to tell them when they have a problem, and just as importantly, why they have it. The Pressure Peace™ system will alert homeowners BEFORE the pressure gets too high, where a flood could be imminent.

P.S. I received my baccalaureate and master's degrees in business, and later my teaching credential in physical science. I taught school for seven years, and have been in water conditioning for decades, as mentioned. The real-world experience showed me what happens in reality; the education helped me to synthesize something new from all the different pieces of data. I'm so thankful for both sides of my life's learning journey.

Our founder also taught science for years, finishing his tenure teaching Chemistry and Algebra II to high school kids at a college campus. When he came back to water filtration, he combined real-world experience and his chemistry knowledge, and invented a way for everyone to help protect their homes against the "invisible killer", high water pressure.
